Our Purpose Our purpose is to magnify God in worship by bringing people to Jesus and membership in His family, to build them to Christ-like maturity, and to equip them for ministry in the church and send them on mission in the world.
“Rev. Bill moved to Florida in 1961 when he was three years old, and has been here ever since. He graduated form Cocoa High School in 1976. For 30 years, he installed carpet in the area before God called him to the ministry. He received his ordination from Faith Baptist Church in Rockledge, FL. He is currently finishing his AA in Ministry from New Orleans Theological Seminary.
Rev. Bill and Shelia have been happily married for 24 years, and live in Cocoa, FL. He loves sports and Southern Gospel Music. His father passed away 20 years ago, and his mother lives nearby in Cocoa. All of his brothers and sisters live nearby, a brother in Merritt Island, a sister in Cocoa, and another sister in Rockledge.
God called him late in life, but the journey continues with God’s plan. Rev. Bill approaches ministry with a servant’s heart, and looks forward to the day that God calls him to be a Senior Pastor at a church. His favorite Bible verse is Psalms 118:14 – “The Lord is my strength and my song, He has become my salvation.
