Our church family is so pleased to host this exciting Troop at our church.  This amazing group of families is such a delight with servant hearts, and love for all.  The parents passion for their children and their children’s relationship with Jesus is evident in the un-ending efforts they make to keep this Troop going each year.  Jesus is doing miraculous things with this group!

They meet on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday of each month with only a few exceptions.  The meetings are from 6:30 to 8 pm.  At least one Saturday each month, the Troop or individual patrols go out on a “Hit the Trail” event.  Sometimes, it is a service project in the local community, but generally, it is an outing to something exciting like hiking or camping.

The Trail Life Program is a Christ-centered youth boys outreach program.  This program is dedicated to teaching boys to be men of God through the basics of survival and living life.  The program combines instruction in outdoor skills with instruction in your relationship with Jesus at varying stages of your life.

The First Baptist Church of Malabar is excited and proud to be one of the first churches in America to host a Trail Life Troop.  Our Troop was officially chartered on January 13, 2014, but we sent delegates to the September 6-8, 2013 kick-off conference…. which is why we call ourselves Troop FL-9-6-13.  The name, Trail Life, was officially announced on September 6, 2013.
